What better way to celebrate a birthday or wedding than with some adorable rescue rabbits? We will need a minimum of 50 square feet (indoors preferred, but depending on temperature we may be able to have them outdoors) for a pen for the bunnies to be in, and a relatively quiet environment (no loud music or excessively noisy people or kids). Most rabbits do not like to be held, but we generally have some who are fine with being held, however, it can only be for short periods of time. The cost is $100 per hour (tax-deductible), with a 2-hour maximum.
Fondulac District Library will be hosting a Read to Rabbits event on Saturday. October 26 at 10 a.m. Hoppy Haven Small Animal Rescue will be bringing rabbits for the children to read to. This program is for children who are in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Registration is required.
